Joseph Vozza
Areas of Practice
Joseph C. Vozza is a partner at IX Legal in the Real Estate and Corporate Transactions Department. He provides representation to clients on all aspects of complex commercial and residential real estate law, including acquisition and sale of property, asset-based transactions, financing, construction, redevelopment, industrial development agency (IDA) benefits, property due diligence, leasing and foreclosure in the New York City metropolitan area. He regularly advises lenders on structuring, drafting and negotiating loan commitments and financing documents for asset based and business lines of credit-based financing. Joseph works with clients in the selection of the proper entity for real estate investments including joint ventures, partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. With significant experience representing multiple national institutional and private lenders in residential and commercial real estate financing and distress property foreclosure and loan workouts. Throughout his career Joseph has managed a high-volume real estate lending/settlement practice.
Joseph also has significant experience representing corporate clients and provides analysis and counsel on legal, policy, compliance issues and strategic planning. He has worked with various clients in multiple industries to complete assets based and stock purchase and sales during throughout his career. He continues to work as outside corporate counsel for several private entities providing general counsel advice and guidance. Jospeh represents parties in the formation of corporate entities. Negotiates and draft corporate governance documents including partnership, shareholder and limited liability company agreements. Joseph works with his corporate clients in the negotiation of corporate contracts and agreements including vendor, nondisclosure, outsourcing agreements, and employment contracts.
Joseph is also a highly accomplished litigator with a proven track record of success. Experienced in providing counsel to individuals and private corporations for real estate, commercial, employment and estate litigation.
